Taylor, Mich. March 6, 2018 —Atlas Oil is set to unveil their new Stormproof campaign focused on emergency preparedness, in addition to an innovative emergency fueling response truck, at Data Center World 2018 in San Antonio, Texas, March 12-15.

“The emergency fueling challenges faced by mission-critical businesses in 2017 were enormous and diverse,” said Atlas Director of Emergency Fueling Services Jayme Oyen. “From hurricanes to wildfires, Atlas knows that the storms our customers are facing demand new technology and innovation in fueling equipment to achieve 100% uptime for backup generators and fleets.”

The Atlas emergency fueling response truck is a byproduct of the lessons learned by Atlas’ emergency fueling team during their 2017 hurricane relief efforts. Atlas deployed more than 80 trucks to Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Nate, and Maria relief efforts. To date, Atlas still has assets deployed in Puerto Rico for utility companies working to restore power to the island.

The new emergency fueling truck boasts a lift kit and upgraded tires for increased traction and clearance, while heavy-duty bumpers equipped with a winch can clear debris or pull the truck through treacherous conditions. It delivers up to 1,000 gallons of fuel with a split tank design that can carry both gasoline and diesel. More information on the truck’s unique features, like on-site fuel filtering, can be found at Booth 147 at Data Center World 2018.

Atlas’ emergency fueling division offers unique fueling solutions like Fuel Assurance Plans that guarantee emergency fuel to contracted customers, no matter what caused the power outage. Recognizing that providing emergency fuel is only one component of an effective business continuity plan, Atlas partnered with Diesel Fuel Doctor and PM Technologies to provide customized Gen360 plans that include fuel and generator maintenance solutions.
