Transport Driver, Brian Siefken strives to make a difference in the lives of everyone he meets. As an Eagle Scout and veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Brian has a strong work ethic and believes in the power of a firm handshake, warm smile and listening ear. That’s what makes him such a great addition to the Atlas team!
Based out of Atlas’ Fort Lupton, CO terminal, Brian has been with Atlas for two years and a driver for more than 25. When asked what his favorite part of working at Atlas was, he jumped on the opportunity to talk about his teammates, customers and the importance of personal connection.
“Driving is great but it’s the people I work with and comradery that really stands out to me,” Brian said. “It’s possible to get the job done right while also caring about the people around you. Why not ask someone how they are– how their family is– how their day is going?”
Outside of work, Brian is a major car enthusiast and loves to get out into the community and connect with others. Whether it be through volunteering or attending local concerts, festivals and car shows, Brian actively seeks out opportunities to stay involved.
“I just try to be well-rounded and don’t slow down often,” he said. “I believe in working hard every day and doing the very best you can. My mom always said, ‘Leave it better than you found it’ and I’ve really held that mantra with me, both in my personal and work life.”
Brian applied for his current position on a referral from a friend who drove for Atlas and recommended the positive environment and team-oriented culture. Through his position as a Transport Driver, Brian has been given a multitude of opportunities to travel to different areas, make new connections and experience new things.
“I joined Atlas because I saw an opportunity to really grow and succeed within the company,” he said. “Every day here is a new adventure.”
